Eli Manning had a classy moment with Daniel Jones after rookie's stunning first win

The Daniel Jones era in New York got off to a stunning start on Sunday as the rookie QB rallied the Giants to a wild 32-31 win over the Buccaneers in Tampa Bay.

Jones, who was named the starter at the beginning of the week, threw two TD passes and ran for two scores, including the winning TD in the final minute when he sprinted in untouched from the 7-yard line. He also finished with 336 yards passing and didn’t throw an interception.

The Giants did get some help in the final seconds as the Bucs missed a 34-yard field goal but, hey, a win’s a win.

What made the win more impressive, however, is that Saquon Barkley left the game with an ankle injury and Jones was still able to lead them back from a 28-10 deficit.

Jones, the No. 6 pick in the last April’s draft, shared a special moment with Eli right after the game:

Barkley couldn’t wait to celebrate with his QB:
